Escape - EP

So, the thing about Escape EP is that it was born out of the moment. Every track was literally a combination of emotions, and you can notice that from the titles of the tracks. Essentially, it was me expressing certain feelings and emotions through melodies. It was important that there were no vocals because it needed to be silent—just music to be interpreted differently, without the use of words. That’s why Escape EP was special. It was special for many reasons, but mainly because most of the tracks were written while I was in the process of figuring things out—figuring out everything. it came out of raw, unfiltered moments—like catching a feeling before it slips away. Every track is a collision of emotions, and if you look at the titles, you’ll see it.

Escape EP Tracklist:

  1. Going Away

  2. Deep Moments

  3. Escape

  4. Shadow

  5. I’m Happy Now

These tracks were like companions to me. For example, Shadow was a track that explained to me the meaning of being a shadow of yourself—when you’re putting on a facade, not doing what you truly want to do or being the version of yourself you aspire to be. In that state, you’re just a shadow of yourself. That idea was particularly important to me.

What’s also intriguing is how the tracks flow in succession. It starts with Going Away, where you realize you need to take some time off. It’s like the beginning of a cycle. Then comes Deep Moments, where you introspect and reflect. From there, it moves to Shadow and Escape and finally ends with I’m Happy Now, which is the result of everything—the resolution, I guess.

So, the EP was really a bundle of emotions turned into music. That’s what made it so special. Every track has a deep meaning, and together, they form the essence of Escape EP. it's not just a collection of tracks. It’s a diary without words. The titles? They’re snapshots of where my head was at. Joy, confusion, calm—all of it got twisted into sound. And because there’s no voice telling you how to feel, the music stays open. It’s a conversation where I start the sentence, and you who listen finish it.
