sleep tight - EP
All right, so Sleep Tight EP—first of all, it was released on January 27, 2025, and it’s a very sonic, nostalgic kind of project.
The EP features a lot of guitars—and I mean a lot of guitars. For the majority of the songs, the foundation of the tracks was built around guitars. This is different from my usual approach because, since I play the keyboard better, I typically use it as the foundation for my tracks. But this time, I decided to use guitars as the core of the music, and it brought a cozy, nostalgic, and sleepy vibe to the project. Since the tracks revolve around these guitars, they create a very important sense of stillness and calm.
The EP has a lot of specific sounds, like in the beginning of the first track, Stillness of Stars, which really sets the tone for the project.

Here’s the tracklist:
Stillness of Stars
Phantom Sleep
Gentle Hush
Sleep Tight
Stillness of Stars is the first track and, in terms of BPM, it’s the fastest on the EP. It serves as a welcome track and an opener for the entire project. As the name suggests, it reflects the experience of going out at night and seeing the stars. That stillness evokes a serene memory within us, and one could argue that it inspires a sense of perspective. Even though the stars are billions of miles away, the fact that we can still see them reminds us that, no matter how far apart we are or how busy we get, there’s always a chance for stillness—at least in perspective.
The next track, Phantom Sleep, is about the struggle of being unable to sleep or waking up repeatedly. In my interpretation, it represents those restless moments. The overarching theme of this EP is to help you sleep, and it acts as a guide to calm your mind. Gentle Hush and Sleep Tight serve as the closing tracks, providing a soothing energy to wrap up the EP.
Overall, this is a very exciting EP that I think a lot of people will enjoy. It’s also very important to me personally because it represents a graduation from a lot of the things I’ve done before. It features a lot of guitar melodies, hazy synths, and soft, relaxing tones that inspire calm and relaxation. It’s your ideal lo-fi sleep track. If you’re looking for a chill, late-night lo-fi beat to unwind to, this EP has everything—pianos, guitars (especially guitars), and a calming energy that’s perfect for winding down.
